You Quip, I Quip Back
I was going through quotes about religion and I stumbled upon this skeptics' site.
You should read what they're saying about religion. Psh, warfreaks.
And if you analyze carefully, you'll realize that they're only targeting Christians.
So maybe I'll play with their little quips a bit.
They say: A man without religion is like a fish without a bicycle.
I say: *le gasp* No wonder my goldfish died so fast!
They say: It is your god. They're your rules. You go to hell.
I say: It's our God, it's our heaven, YOU disintegrate meaninglessly into nothing.
They say: It is best to read the weather forecast before praying for rain.
I say: If we never prayed, weather forecasters would already be dead.
They say: Most people would rather die than think; in fact, they do so.
I say: Guess what? You can think all you want as often as you want, you'll die anyway.
They say: Religion can never reform mankind because religion is slavery.
I say: I know, I'm totally SUFFERING right now. It's total torture. *sarcasm*
They say: "Black holes would seem to suggest that God not only plays dice, but also sometimes throws them where they cannot be seen." - Stephen Hawking, NATURE, 1975
"God does not play dice with the universe." - Albert Einstein
I say: Atheists contradicting themselves... SWEEEET.... wh00t
They say: The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.
I say: Again with the slavery thing, REALLY. I'm sorry you got jailed for your reckless driving but why blame God?
They say: The quest for god is like a blind man in a dark room who is looking for a black cat that isn’t there.
If you are comfortable with a lie, you will never look for the truth.
I say: You should know...
They say: Jesus Christ: Imaginary Playmate to Millions of Adults!
I say: *pats back* don't worry, He loves you, you're just a sociopathic n00b is all.
